Creative Strategy Intern

Part Time, REMOTE

Founded in 2003, MKG is a women-led and operated creative agency specializing in brand action. Brand actions – including live experiences, digital, virtual, and hybrid events, employee engagements, and social impact actions – humanize brands through creative storytelling and thoughtful, purpose-driven engagement. We’re proud to be long-standing partners to brands like Google, Target, Netflix, Meta, lululemon, Delta Air Lines, and Dos Equis.

MKG is searching for eager individuals studying or practicing Creative Strategy. They will report to a full-time Creative Strategist and support/collaborate on a wide range of experiential programs’ creative processes from ideation to development. The ideal candidate will be tapped into popular, emerging, and fringe areas of culture, and is passionate about how art and commerce come to life in the experiential medium. Every day is different in this fast-paced environment! We’re looking for someone who is up for a challenge and is always excited to try something new.

This position is partially remote (based in LA) or fully remote to west coast candidates on Pacific Standard Time and therefore requires excellent communication skills.

This is a paid internship.

REQUIREMENTS:
● Must either be working towards (or already have) a creative writing, marketing, or related degree OR have the ability to show an ample amount of independent creative work (formal college education/degree not required)
● Strong communication and grammar skills to write clearly and effectively to convey creative ideas
● Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours/week, during business hours
● The internship will last approximately 12 weeks but is flexible
